All of my policies exist as a way to communicate how I do business, my terms of agreement, and my conditions as we work together. These policies are intended to protect our mutual investment in doing business together, as well as define the rules we agree to follow in doing so. If I've missed anything or should clarify anything further, please let me know.
Release of Liability (for Services Provided)
Informed Consent
I hereby request and consent to the services of Spirit Saddle & Tack, LLC, that may consist of equine massage, BEMER PEMF, Saddle Fitting, or any other services performed by Jessica Wipprecht, who now or in the future, render services to my horse.
FOR MASSAGE ONLY
Massages will mostly consist of manual hand pressure, but other tools (e.g., Gua Sha scraping tools or Posture Prep Groomer) may be used during the massage at your consent.
General Release of Liability
In consideration of the following, I hereby release and forever discharge Jessica Wipprecht, or Spirit Saddle & Tack, LLC from all responsibility or liability of any kind, nature or character whatsoever from the beginning of this world to this day. This transaction is consummated at my specific request.
I understand that any services offered do not replace regular care by my veterinarian, and that massage/bodywork practitioners are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness, and that nothing said in the course of the session given would be construed as such.
Because massage/bodywork and BEMER PEMF are not to be performed under certain medical conditions, I affirm that I have stated all my horses known medical conditions and answered all the questions on this document honestly.
I agree to keep the practitioner updated as to any changes in my horses' medical profile and understand that there shall be no liability on the practitioner’s part if I forget to inform of such. Should I choose to disregard this liability and pursue legal action, I will pay all legal fees incurred by Jessica Wipprecht and Spirit Saddle & Tack, LLC.
Consent for Use or Disclosure of Health Information
We are very concerned with protecting your personal information, but if at any time we feel that your horse’s health is at risk and needs evaluated by a veterinarian, we will contact the veterinarian that you have listed on this form, or other animal service so that your horse is provided with appropriate care.
Appointment Reminder and Health Care Information Authorization
Spirit Saddle & Tack, LLC may need to use your name, address, and phone number to contact you with appointment reminders, information about treatment alternatives, or other health related information that may be of interest to you. If this contact is made by phone and you are not home, a message will be left on your answering machine or voicemail. By signing this form, you are giving us authorization to contact you with these reminders and information.
Please be advised that it is the horse owner’s responsibility to inform the veterinarian that equine massage is being performed on their horse if they so choose. Should the horse owner or veterinarian require records on any or all visits, it is the responsibility of the horse owner to inform Jessica Wipprecht, or Spirit Saddle & Tack, LLC to send said records.
Office Terms & Conditions During the Appointment
"Office" is defined herein as the physical location in which Spirit Saddle & Tack, LLC is performing services.
Please adhere to the following during the appointment:
Safe and clean environment:

NO children running around horse or in the same aisle as the horse being treated.

Avoid scheduling appointments during feeding time at your location.

Horses must be clean before appointment time. If the horse is not clean on any part of their body that needs massaged, $10 will be added to your total fee.
All services must be paid for at the time of service. Forms of payment accepted for in-person services, during the appointment, are as follows:

Debit card accepted only by legal-aged adult. No card numbers will be saved.

Cash, Square, and Venmo are also accepted.

All electronic payments will have 4% convenience fee added to total.
Responsible adult must be present at all times.

No minor will be the responsible party for a horse at any time.

Responsible adult must be present if the main caretaker of the horse is a minor.
First-time appointment?

Horse owner must be on-site for all services for first time appointments.
Respect for time:

Please be courteous to others and cancel your appointment at least 24 hours ahead of time.

If you are not ready for your appointment and I must wait for you, a $60 charge will be added to the total.
Saddle Fitting Services Clause
I understand that a horse may need the saddle refitted 2-3 times per year and that this saddle fitting does not replace any evaluation by my veterinarian for any condition. I understand that any measurements taken at the appointment today (or immediately upcoming) will change with activity of the horse. Any measurements taken for the purpose of custom saddle-making does not make Spirit Saddle & Tack, LLC responsible for the fit of the saddle once it has been made by the saddle maker. Any further issues with a custom-made saddle must be discussed with the saddle maker from this appointment onwards. None of these services are a substitute for proper veterinary care and therapists cannot take responsibility for primary health care of client’s horses. Massage is non-invasive, soft tissue manipulation only.

Saddle Trial Policy
Not doing a saddle fitting with me? Too far away?

Spirit Saddle & Tack, LLC offers fully paid 5-day trials on all saddles to prospective customers within the USA. The purpose and ultimate goal of my 5-day trial period is to ensure that you (and your horse) are happy with your saddle purchase. All international orders are final sale only.

If you are within traveling distance of me in Temple, Pennsylvania, take advantage of our proximity to one another and schedule a saddle fitting with me. I'd love to meet you and your horse. But, if it's just not practical, this is the other way to go.

Simply order the saddle that you are interested in trying through our website. Once the order and payment have been received, it will be shipped within 2 business days.

The 5-day trial begins the day after the saddle is delivered to your doorstep.

If you decide to return the saddle, you must notify me (by email or text) that the saddle is to be returned and pack it back up in the same shipping box and shipping materials sent to you.

If you don't notify me within the 5-day trial period of your desire to return the saddle, the saddle becomes your property.

Once I get the saddle back and confirm that it is in the same condition in which it left, I'll contact you within 1 business day to consider next steps or to arrange your refund.

Please see my Saddle Trial Agreement for more details around any excessive wear & tear, damage, excessive dirtiness, etc. that should happen to the saddle while it is out on trial. The conditions of the trial agreement are also contained within my Terms & Conditions, to which you'll be required to agree before you can place an order.

In the event you return the saddle at the end of the 5-day trial, there is no restocking fee if you have used Venmo to pay. However, if you paid using any other method (such as PayPal Goods & Services, Venmo Purchase Protection or standard credit cards through the site), there will be a minimal restocking fee of 4%.

Shipping Policy
Saddle Trial Agreement Terms & Conditions

In the event I ship a saddle to you (such as for a Saddle Trial), please keep the box and any packing material until you've confirmed the saddle will work (and you're keeping the saddle). If you need to return ship the saddle to me, package it back up into that box with the same packing materials.

Any saddle that ships to me must be in a HEAVY DUTY box (sized 24" x 18" x 18") with proper packaging to ensure shipping will not cause damage to the saddle.

The use of old towels, bubble wrap and foam pieces are appropriate packing materials; whereas, paper, additional cardboard and packing peanuts are NOT suitable packing materials to protect the saddle.
